Our Continuous Sawtooth Shelf System is the rebirth of a design that was used on many pieces of vintage furniture and cabinetry. These sawtooth supports were the primary way to make an adjustable shelf before the introduction of the hole and pin standard. This system now makes it possible to recreate the detail and craftsmanship of the past! Each set includes four supports, two pieces of cleat material, illustrations and instructions.
The continuous version of the sawtooth support is where the sawtooth cut runs the entire length on the support. This style allows several lengths to be joined for use in taller cabinets. It also can be used as a center section by adding a plain support piece on either end extending the length at a lower cost. The cleat material included with each set is the same dimensions as the supports so can be used for the extensions.
